Texas 15th Congressional District

This majority Latino district is among the most closely contested in Texas. Effective voter engagement is the key to defeating GOP incumbent Monica De La Cruz. To flip TX-15, People’s House recommends that donors support two groups with deep roots in the district:

LUPE Votes uses “electoral and political organizing to win justice for working families in the Rio Grande Valley” and has a strong record of registering and turning out voters. Its work this year in TX-15 includes door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and digital outreach.

Texas Turnout Rio Grande Valley seeks to increase Latino youth turnout in the Rio Grande Valley, working closely with high schools and colleges. In 2024, it aims to register and empower 8000 young voters.
